The ‘Mooi Veluwe’ Hampshire Inn, in the middle of the Speulder forest, is the ideal operating base for a number of delightful cycling excursions. For ultimate relaxation, a day in the sauna is included.

Relaxing in Sauna Drôme
This Scandinavian-look hotel is located in 3 hectares of parkland. All rooms have a patio and are on the ground floor. During the cycling excursions, you have all the time in the world to enjoy the Veluwe region. One of the routes brings you through open countryside, forest and moorlands to the village of Ermelo.
The Ermelo moors is home to a large variety of natural surroundings. A somewhat larger town is the former Hanseatic city of Harderwijk, which is known mainly for its dolphinarium.
Take the ferry across to Flevoland, and discover exceptional flora and fauna along the Schuitenbeek delta. Life in the countryside is best seen during the Schaapskooiroute (sheep pen route), during which you can even enjoy a coffee with the farmer. As a break from all that cycling, spend a day relaxing in one of the baths and saunas in the Sauna Drôme. We provide a sauna cuisine package (for an extra charge), in which you forgo one of your evening meals in the hotel and instead are provided a brunch and evening meal in the sau-na. Upon arrival, contact the sauna yourself to find out if the date you require is available.
