Experience your active cruise optimal with cycling along the Moselle and the Saar. Enjoy a unique organized tour with cycling and a cruise. After you have cycled a day through a wonderful landscape and have done some sightseeing in the beautiful old villages, enjoy your delicious freshly prepared dinner on the ship the Eva Josiena. The sunset outside makes your diner complete.

The Moselle cycle route is very popular with avid cyclists because of its idyllic setting. The route leads you through the Moselle wine-growing country with its typical steep vineyards and with lots of opportunities for stops in wine-making villages on the way. This route will also bring you to Germany's oldest town, Trier, with its famous Porta Nigra, a magnificent 2nd century Roman city gate. Saarland (the region of the river Saar) explores a less well-known corner of Germany, in the very west, next to France.  The route is nice and flat. By contrast, the Saar Bow where Saar and Moselle meet is the major natural sight of the region.

About the ship:
The MS Eva Josiena is a former cargo ship, built in 1929. In 1993 the cargo ship was turned into a passenger ship and during the winter of 2011 -2012 the interior was completely renewed and brought up to date to the nowadays wishes of the passengers.
All cabins will be fitted out with an en- suite, low beds, and a wardrobe. On deck you can enjoy the good weather at the sun deck with its comfortable chairs.
