A combination of Europe’s most sold river cruise and favourite cycleway, is the basis of the combined cycle and boat trip. This trip will get you along enchanting river landscapes with steep forested hills and vineyards. Around the end of the afternoon you will go back to your sailing hotel again. When you want a day off or a day with less kilometres, you can stay on the boat or take a train transfer.
Embarkation is at 5 PM. You can enjoy a relaxing evening aboard. The first ride will take you through a beautiful landscape with a few small towns. After a beautiful day on you bike, you can rest on the boat in the sun, while the boat will get you to Linz. On the third day you will visit Grein, where you find the oldest theatre in Austria, and the castle of Grein. The following days you will cycle further to Vienna. You can visit this city on day six. The last day of this trip is filled with highlights: on your way you will encounter little villages, castles and ruins. In the evening you will have a final galadiner before you sail back tot Passau.
About the barges:
The MS My Story departs on Sunday. The MS Theodor Körner departs on Saturday.
