Bleu Danube Bike & Barge 2010

A combination of Europe’s most sold river cruise and favourite cycleway, is the basis of the combined cycle and boat trip. This trip will get you along enchanting river landscapes with steep forested hills and vineyards. Around the end of the afternoon you will go back to your sailing hotel again. When you want a day off or a day with less kilometres, you can stay on the boat or take a train transfer
 
Passau – Vienna – Bratislava – Budapest – Passau
On Saturday noon will on board the Ms. Th. Körner. You will sail to Engelhartszell, the summer residence of the Bishops of Passau. On day 2 you will make the first roundtrip through the landscape of the Danube, along forests and picturesque places. The next day you will cycle through the National Park Danube to Bratislava. In the evening you can make a guided walk through the old centre of this city. When you wake up on Tuesday you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes on your way to Budapest. After arrival, you will have the rest of the day to get to know Budapest. The next cycle day gets along quiet parts of the Danube with infinite views. You will board again in Esztergom, The Hungarian Rome. The next morning you will wake up in Vienna. The last trip goes to Wachau, through ancient old vineyards, with castle ruins. After a beautiful last cycle trip you board again to enjoy the last diner, while the ship is sailing back to Passau.

The Ms. Th. Körner is a large and comfortable ship. The cook on board makes by serving national and regional dishes. This makes your trip a culinary discovery. Every evening there is live music on board. Further there is a panorama bar, a coffee bar and a large sundeck with comfortable seats.
