What you should know
YOUR SAILING HOTEL
your floating hotel is following you, no lugging of luggage!
In the pleasant atmosphere on board you can enjoy the meals prepared specially for cyclists. You have your own cabin with private shower and toilet. In the evenings you can enjoy a drink in the salon or admire the setting sun on deck.
Of course our ships satisfy the strict requirements of the Dutch Shipping Inspection.

THE TEAM
hospitality comes first
The captain, hostess, the chef and your tour guide all welcome you warmly. They prepared specifically for these trips and will provide good and safe passage, good meals, a friendly, pleasant atmosphere and give you a great deal of interesting information during and after the cycling and sailing.
Our cycling guides:
Cycletours works in collaboration with the NTFU (Dutch Touring Bicycle Association). Almost all our cycling guides have completed a cycling sport trainer course given by the NTFU. This guarantees professional supervision during the riding.
Our cycling guides have also all completed studies in cultural topics, so that they can tell you all kinds of interesting information about the Netherlands on the way. They speak English, but depending on the composition of the group they may also speak other languages.
The meals:
Besides an extensive breakfast, you will also be offered a packed lunch for on the road. It consists of different types of bread and sandwich fillings – you put the sandwiches together yourself, juice, a snack and a piece of fruit. Dinner is different every day. There is a first course, main course and dessert (on the ComfortLuxe there is also an extra intermediate course).
The meals on board are included in the price, as are coffee and tea. Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks can be obtained at a charge.

YOU AND THE GROUP
new friends from around the world!
Most groups are made up of people of different nationalities and ages. It’s a great opportunity for you to get to know various cultures at the same time.
You eat the meals together with the group on board. If you want, you can cycle together with the tour guide. But you can also make your own plans. You are always free to ride the route any way you want to.

THE CYCLING ROUTE
the best-known places in the Netherlands along the most beautiful routes.
The average daily distance is around forty-five kilometers. You have about eight hours to achieve this distance, including stops and visits. Usually you can shorten the route of the day by disembarking later. Of course, you can also stay on the boat all day too! If you prefer riding shorter distances and having more time for things like museums, the South Tour Relax and the Amsterdam Top Down are the ones for you (average daily distance is about thirty kilometers).
Cycling together or alone: most participants prefer riding in a group with the cycling guide, but you can also ride individually. You can discuss with the cycling guide which route is best to take. Maps suitable for individual cycling are best bought in the Netherlands at the VVV (tourist information).

CHARTER A BOAT
unprecedented opportunities
The intimate atmosphere, excellent care and beautiful surroundings are of course eminently suitable for a group you choose yourself: your own ship for countless occasions.
You can be inspired by one of our trips, or make one up together with us: you are most welcome.

EXTRA DAYS
If you want to extend your stay in the Netherlands or Belgium, before or after your Bike&Boat Tour, we can book a hotel for you.
