We advise you to take out a good travel- and cancellation insurance.
The cancellation insurance can be taken out up to five days after the reservation has been made.
Travel Risk Insurance
A: Benelux + German citizens: € 0,80 /person/day. Policy fee € 5,-
B: Europeans: € 1,90 /person/day. Policy fee € 5,-
C: Non-Europeans: € 1,90 /person/day. Policy fee € 5,-
Cancellation Insurance
A: Dutch citizens: 5% of travelsum/ Policy fee € 5,-
B: Europeans: 5% of travelsum/ Policy fee € 5,-
C: Non-Europeans: 5% of travelsum/ Policy fee € 5,-
Cancellation conditions
Cycletours Holland is a member of the General Dutch Association of Touroperators (ANVR). This association publishes the ANVR-Travel Conditions, that include the rights and duties of both the touroperator and the participant. These conditions are available on request. In these conditions you may also read the conditions for cancellation that we use (these are mentioned below separately).
ANVR conditions for cancellation
- upon cancellation from the day of booking until 42 days before the day of departure: the down payment (15% of the costs of the trip);
- upon cancellation from the 42th day onwards (inclusive) until the 28th day before the day of departure: 35% of the costs of the trip;
- upon cancellation from the 28th day onwards (inclusive) until the 21st day before the day of departure: 40% of the costs of the trip;
- upon cancellation from the 21st day onwards (inclusive) until the 14th day before the day of departure: 50% of the costs of the trip;
- upon cancellation from the 14th day onwards (inclusive) until the 5th day before the day of departure: 75% of the costs of the trip;
- upon cancellation from the 5th day onwards (inclusive) until the day of departure: 90% of the costs of the trip;
- upon cancellation on the day of departure or later: the total costs of the trip.
Bicycle Insurance
The bicycles, with a good lock, are made available for you, but you are liable for damage or theft as long as the bicycle is not on board or inside. You can insure the bicycle with Cycletours Holland for € 15,- per bike, no-risk. |
